If you’re looking for a player that’s worth keeping an eye on during the next few weeks leading up to the draft, Central Florida’s Torrell Troup may be a perfect option.
Troup has been generating quite a bit of buzz as of late, with multiple teams sending high profile members of their coaching staff to check him out recently. According to the Carlos “Big C” Holmes of the Dayton Daily News, the Browns have defensive line coach Bryan Cox on campus in Orlando, putting Troup through the paces this morning.
Holmes also mentioned the Chiefs and Patriots as potential suitors for Troup next month, with Kansas City sending defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel to work him out last Monday, and New England pulling out all the stops with head coach Bill Belichick visiting the very next day. The Lions, Broncos, Saints, and Vikings are also reportedly interested.
