The man brought into battle for the starting job in Minnesota before No. 4 came along may be on the move once again.
According to Michael Lombardi of National Football Post, the Raiders and Vikings are in trade talks that could give Vikings backup quarterback Sage Rosenfels a better chance to land a starting job.
The trade, like several other pending moves, is more then likely contingent on Brett Favre, and whether or not he will come back to one of the leagues best teams. I don’t believe we’re ever going to see Jackson or Rosenfels start (again) for Minnesota, considering that they’ve tasted the luxury of having a Hall of Fame caliber quarterback calling the signals.
The Raiders are leaving their options open at quarterback this off-season, and seeing as Rosenfels would be much cheaper than sending All-Pro cornerback, Nnamdi Asomugha, to the Eagles for quarterback Donovan McNabb, his acquisition makes some sense.
