One of the top priorities for the Chiefs this off-season was to re-sign wide receiver Chris Chambers. After a few quiet daysto start free agency and several rumors of his departure to different locales, Kansas City made good on their desire to bring him back with a new three year contract.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal between Chambers and the Chiefs will pay him up to $15 million and guarantees at least $5.9 million. Chambers was far and away the best receiver on the field for Kansas City last season, and his return should be welcome news to the rest of the team and its fans.
