LT played the media with his "what a classy guy" nonsense, but we got to see the real LT when things started getting tough, like after that playoff loss to a heavily depleted Pats team, when he pouted and complained and even redirected his team's lousy performance onto some opponents who were supposedly dancing on the lightning bolt (actually it was one guy--Ellis Hobbs), then continued to use the "incident" by blaming Belichick with one of the most resentful, childish, and totally unfounded diatribes I have ever heard come out of any athlete's mouth. And he had the nerve to call himself a "classy guy" while he was doing it, which is pretty funny, because any man who has to remind others that he's a "classy" individual usually is not. The injuries mounted after that, and so did his pouting, and his self-serving talk. Even his comments about leaving the Chargers sounded bad, as if he wanted the fans to pity him and complain to the team about the move. LT can't play anymore, but he's bound to fool some a team (and most of the media) into thinking he's still great. But, the smarter franchises (New England, Pittsburgh, Philly, Miami, and yes, even the Chargers) won't bite on his bs.

"[A] duo of Chris Johnson and Tomlinson would be as dynamic as any in history at the position."

Give your reader some credit. Tomlinson is washed up, and everybody knows it. Right now, he's about as dynamic a runner as Blair Thomas. Everyone who has watched him over the past two seasons knows that his tank is out of gas.
