According to Adam Caplan (via Twitter), the Chiefs have claimed former Patriots LB Vince Redd off of waivers.
Kansas City is lacking somewhat at Redd’s position (outside linebacker), so the move to get him makes some sense. Redd has the size to be a solid player (6’6″, 260 lbs.) but he hasn’t shown that he’s capable of making the big plays needed at that spot. Still, it’s beginning to look as though the New England to KC pipeline is fully operational, which bodes well for the Chiefs depth this season.
