9:25 pm – Adam Schefter of ESPN.com is reporting (via Twitter) that Douglas has a torn ACL in his knee and will likely miss the entire season as a result.

This is a huge blow to the Falcons offense, especially with White still fighting it out with the front office.

4:50 pm – The Falcons released a short statement from head coach Mike Smith on Douglas’ injury and it doesn’t look good for Atlanta right now. Smith confirmed the initial diagnosis of it being a knee injury but stopped short of speculating any further on a possible prognosis.

3:05 pm – WR Harry Douglas was forced to leave practice today after he suffered an injury to his left leg during one-on-one passing drills, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Falcons are running pretty thin at the receiver position right now, especially with the prolonged absence of WR Roddy White, who is currently in the midst of a contract dispute with the team’s front office. Douglas was expected to be an integral part of the offense this season, after a solid rookie season last year.

As always, we’ll keep you up to date with the latest news on this and more from around the league.
