  • Former Rams RB Lawrence Phillips has been charged with eight counts of assault stemming from two seperate incidents. He’s currently looking at 25 years behind bars if he’s convicted.
  • Their ongoing dispute with the NFL Network will not affect the broadcast of the network to current subscribers of Comcast, according to a spokesperson for the cable provider.
  • The Saints have reached a deal with authorities at the SuperDome to play in the facility through the 2025 season.
  • Kansas City has signed free agent center Eric Ghiaciuc, formerly of Cincinnati.
  • Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is impressed with the job that GM Scott Pioli has done so far.
  • Denver has released RB Selvin Young after drafting former Georgia RB Knowshon Moreno last weekend.
