The calamity that befell the Dallas Cowboys over the weekend at their training complex is set to be investigated meticulously by agents from the Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA) today, according to the Associated Press.
The overall amount of injuries from the event were minimal, but the scope became much worse yesterday after it was disclosed that Rich Behm, the team’s 33-year-old scouting assistant, had been permanently paralyzed from the waist down. Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis also suffered a serious spinal injury, but doctors feel confident that he will fully recover.
The agency will begin by taking a look at the permits and construction paperwork on file from the initial work done on the site, and will work quickly to determine the reason(s) behind the collapse of the facility during the high winds in the area on Saturday.
