According to the Roar Report, the Lions will be entertaining veteran DE Kevin Carter this afternoon in Detroit. Carter was a key defender for Detroit head coach Jim Schwartz during his time in Tennessee, and the Lions have a need for an adequate pass rusher, so his addition would make sense.
Carter is coming off a nice season in Tampa Bay where he started all 16 games and notched four sacks to go with 49 tackles. This will be his 15th season in the league, with stints in Tennessee, Tampa Bay, and St. Louis.
