Just when the off-season had started to quiet down a bit, a popular and talented player decided to shake things up.

According to Tim Graham (ESPN), Buffalo Bills RB Marshawn Lynch was arrested last Wednesday on felony gun charges, after he allegedly was found to be in possession of a loaded weapon by law enforcement officials during a search of the vehicle Lynch was riding in.

Concealing a firearm without a permit is a felony offense, and after New York Giants WR Plaxico Burress made headlines when he accidently discharged an illegal weapon in a NYC nightclub last fall, the league is sure to keep a close eye on the proceedings in this case.
