In one of the more surprising pieces of news to come out today, Kansas City is currently in the midst of trying to swing a deal for Patriots LB Mike Vrabel, according to Adam Schefter (NFL.com).

Vrabel is obviously familiar with Chiefs GM Scott Pioli, but given his age and declining skill level, trading for him is definitely an interesting tack for Kansas City to take, especially after doing their best to stick with the youth movement for the past two seasons.
