Meggett strikes again

The Associated Press is reporting that Dave Meggett, a former NFL RB with the Giants and Patriots, has been arrested and charged with raping a 21 year old woman yesterday in Charleston, SC. Meggett is still waiting trial for a previous charge of rape, and has been denied bail after the latest allegation surfaced.

9:10 am: Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera is scheduled to meet with the Detroit Lions at some point today, according to Kevin Acee (San Diego Union-Tribune). According to the Associated Press, Arizona Cardinals TE Steven Spach tore his right ACL during the Cardinals victory in Carolina last Saturday. Spach’s loss is a tough blow for Arizona, as he played a key role in their blocking schemes and provided a solid pass catching threat out in the flats for QB Kurt Warner.
