11:45 pm: According to Adam Schefter (NFL Network), the Broncos interviewed McDaniels twice today to fill the team’s head coaching vacancy.
4:22 pm: The Minnesota Star-Tribune is reporting that it’s looking more and more likely that Denver will focus on Frazier and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to fill their vacancy at head coach. Both candidates are expected to be asked back for a second round of interviews this week.
11:20 am: According to the Denver Post, a new candidate has possibly emerged from the heap at Mile High to become the frontrunner for the Broncos head coaching position: Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.
Frazier apparently had an outstanding interview with the team earlier in the week, and given his track record of success at building a standout defense, something the Broncos have been missing for a long time, it makes sense that Denver would be looking in that direction.
